CYCLE CRASHES UNDER GIG.
OCCUr AXTS THROWN HEAVILY. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) PALMERSTON N. s Monday. A motor cycle ridden by Alfred Walsh, a mechanic, of Foxton, collided with a gig driven by Mrs. Royal, who had with her three children. The occupants of the gig were thrown heavily to the ground, and Mrs. Royal was pickcd up unconscious. The children escaped with a severe shaking, and Walsh, whose machine crashed right under the vehicle, was thrown clear and escaped with cuts and abrasions
Mrs. Royal did not receive serious injury.
The gig and cycle were badly damaged. but the horse escaped injury.
