SUPPLY NOW PROMISED.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) TE AROHA, Monday.
The Public Workß Department, Hamilton, has advised the Thames Valley Power Board that it can now arrange for a supply of electricity to all New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company factories in the board's extensive areas at all times except between 3.30 and 8-30 p.m. In conveying this information to the board Mr. T. McLennan, the district electrical engineer, expressed the hope that the Department would be enabled to continue the arrangement throughout next milking season.
This solution of a difficult problem is regarded with satisfaction by the Power Board, and has been made possible by a friendly arrangement between the Department and the Auckland Power Board.
It will not now he necesary for the factories to instal their own powerfjeneratinp plants.
