TAKAPUNA SERVICE.
Takapuna observed the day with a parade and memorial service in the Foresters' Hall. The parade included returned soldiers, cadets, scouts, girl guides, and the fire brigade, to the music of the Municipal Band. The Mayor (Mr. J. W. Williamson) presided, and Canon F. W. Young and the Revs. W. G. Monckton and Morgan Richards took part in the service, while an address was given by the Rev. S. J. Atkins.
Services held last evening were well attended.
