ERADICATE THE HEATHER. IN NATIONAL PARK. DR. HILL'S RECOMMENDATION. (By Telegraph.—Own correspondent.) WELLINGTON, this day. In his report to the Government, Dr. A. W. Hill, director of Kew Gardens, repeats his previously expressed fears that all is not well in our national reserves, owing to the importation of exotic plants and animals — goats on Mount Egmout. and deer elsewhere. He colliders that exotics in such parks as the Tongariro National Park inu=t be eradicated without delay.
