TRANS-PACIFIC CARGO STEAMERS. The Hanrakl will clear Sydney on April 7 for Honolulu, Vancouver, and San Francisco. The Walhemo left Los Angeles on March 13 for Auckland, Wellington, New Plymouth, Melbourne, and Sydney. She is due at Auckland on April 6. The Waiotapu, from Newcastle, via Suva, left Fanning Island at 11 p.m. on Tuesday last, and is due at Vancouver on April 11. She will proceed thence to Powell River. Union Bay, Ocean Falls, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, to load for Papeete, Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, and Sydney. The Wniruna is expected to clear Ocean Falls (8.C.) to-day for San Francisco direct, to complete loading for Auckland, Wellington. Melbourne, Adelaide, and Sydney. The Waitemata, from Wellington, arrived at Melbourne on Thursday, and will proceed thence on Monday to Sydney, to complete discharge of her Inward cargo. The forward loading dates on the Pacific Coast are approximately as follow:— The Haurakl will load at Vancouver and San Francisco early in May for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Sydney. The Waitemata will load at Vancouver, San Francisco, and Los Angeles during May, for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, and Sydney. The Waihemo will load at Vancouver and San Francisco during June for New Zealand and Australian ports. The Wairunn will load at Vancouver and San Francisco in July for Auckland and New 1 Zealand outports. The Waiotapu will load at Vancouver and San Francisco in July for Wellington and Australian ports. THE CANADIAN HIGHLANDER. np for Atlantic Coast ports the Canadian National steamer Canadian High- , lander left Lyttelton on Saturday afternoon tor Napier and Auckland. She was expected to arrive at Napier this morning, and to leave there to-night for Auckland. She is due here on Wednesday morning, and will sail the following day for New York, Boston and Halifax.

CAMBRIDGE SAILED. With a full cargo of N.Z. produce for London and West of England ports, the Federal steamer Cambridge sailed on Saturday afternoon. CARGO FROM AUSTRALIA. The Union Company has received advice that their steamer Kaltangata Is expected to leave Melbourne to-day, with a full cargo of Australian products for Auckland. ROTORUA POSTPONED. The New Zealand Shipping Co. advises that the departure from Wellington of the Rotorua, with passengers, mails and cargo for Southampton and London, has been postponed to daybreak on Wednesday. CASSIOPEE TO DOCK. The French warship Cassiopee Is to leave Lyttelton to-day and she is due at Auckland at ten o'clock on Thursday morning. On Tuesday, April 10, the warship will be docked for overhaul and refitting. H.M.S. DIOMEDE RETURNED. From Apia, via Suva, H.M.s. Diomede returned to Auckland this morning and berthed at Devouport. She left Suva on Friday, and experienced fine weather. The Admiralty tanker Nucula, which has been with the warships at Apia, is due to-morrow. WAIHEMO REPORTS. With a full cargo of lumber, case oil and general merchandise from the Hicific Coast, the Union C'o.'s steamer Waihemo expects to reach Auckland on Thursday morning, according to her wireless report, ller other ports of discharge are Wellington, New Plymouth, Melbourne and Sydney. KARTIGI FOR NEWCASTLE. The Union Company's steamer Kartigi ! is to come across from the Sheerlegs wharf to the Prince's wnarr to-morrow morning to complete discharge of her cargo of coal from Westport. She is announced to sail on Thursday next for Newcastle, to load coal for Auckland. NIAGARA AT VANCOUVER. Cabled advice from Vancouver states that the Uuion Company's R.M.s. Niagara arrived there from Sydney and Auckland at (5 p.m. on Friday last. She is to leave there again on Wednesday next and is due at Auckland ou April 23 and at Sydney on April 28. WAIKAWA TO MORROW. Having left Bluff at 9.30 p.m. on Friday, the Union Co.'s steamer Waikawa is due at Auckland at 1 p.m. to-morrow. She is to sail on Wednesday for Vancouver. After discharge there, she is to load at Vancouver, San Francisco, and Los Angeles early in May for Apia, Napier, New Plymouth. Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. WAIPAHI DUE TO-MORROW. A wireless report from the Union Company's steamer Waipahi states that she experts to arrive at Auckland at 5 p.m. to-morrow. She has a full cargo of fruit from Suva. After discharge she Is to go to Westport to load coal for Pago Pago. From Pago I'ngo the vessel will go to Suva, where she is scheduled to load another cargo or fruit for Auckland on April 27. WEST CONOB ARRIVED. After a good passage of 23 days from San I'edro, the American-Australian Orient lane steamer West Conob (Captain J. 11. Hansen) arrived at Auckland yesterday morning, and berthed at the Central wharf to discharge the local portion of her lumber, case oil and general cargo. She left San I'edro on March S. and experienced tine weather throughout the voyage. From Auckland she is to go to Wellington. Duneilin and Bluff to complete discharge. (Henderson and Macfarlane, Ltd., agents.) KING EGBERT IN PORT. On her maiden voyage the new motorship King Egbert arrived at Auckland from Antwerp yesterday morning, and berthed at the King's wharf to land the whole of her cargo of 7300 tons of basic slag, to the agency of the New Zeaalnd Shipping Co. She left Antwerp on February 9, and met with strong north-west gales and high seas until she passetl the Azores. Colon was reached on March 3, and the vessel cleared lEalbao the following day. Fine weather was experienced in the Pacific, and the vessel made better time. Her mean speed for the whole voyage was 9.i)4 knots, but from Panama to Auckland she averaged 10.7 knots. Captain D. I'oulgrain is in command. The King Egbert is expected to complete discharge on Thursday, but her future movements have not yet been announced. KIA ORA DISCHARGING. An arrival at Auckland oil Saturday afternoon was the Shaw, Savin and Albion steamer Kia Oru (Captain V. Ken worthy i with general cargo lroin Liverpool. After inspection she uerthed at the Queen's wharf. The vessel sailed from Liverpool on February lb, and experienced line weathir during the first two days from port. Afterwards she was beset tor a week by a succession of heavy westerly gales and high mountainous seas, which caused her to labour heavily and to ship water fore and aft.
