HOCKEY.
ST. LUKE'S CLUB. At the annual meeting of the St. Luke's Hockey Club there was a record attendance of officers, members, and supporters. The club's financial position as disclosed in the report was satisfactory, the balance'sheet showing a small credit balance. The position of the club's teams at the end of the season was considered to be quite satisfactory in view of the fact that severe casualties claimed several of the leading players. Several new members were admitted.
The following officers were elected: patron. Rev. J. A. Thomson : president, Mr. H. B. Burnett; vice-presidents: last year's vice-presidents were re-elected, with the addition of the name of Mr. H. Duncan; secretary and treasurer, Mr. J. S. BobertRon : assistant secretary and treasurer. Mr. T. H. Giles; club cantain, A. Steele; hon. auditor, Mr. H. B. Burnett: delegates to the Auckland Hockey Association, Messrs. J. H. Giles and F. Craig; life members, Messrs. H. B. Burnett and G. Harvey. It was resolved that the firnt practice be held on Saturday, April 11
