YOtJNCfr DUTCH SOLICITOR. APPEAL COURT'S DECISION. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day.
In the application by William John Heyting for admission "to the Supreme ourl, made to the Court of Knnsal, twoquestions were raised:—(a) Whether Heyting, being a Dutch subject, could be admitted, as a solicitor of the Supreme Court without first being naturalised as a British subject; '(b) whether an applicant for admission could file a notice of his intention to apply for admission before he had sat the requisite examinations.
On both questions the Court of Appeal decided against the applicant. His ad•niission was, therefore, refused, but no co6ts were allowed against him. Heyting is a Dutch subject, born in Java. He completed his law course at Victoria University College.
