CHEAPER MANURES AND SEEDS. (By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) DAKNEVIRKE, this day. The executive of the Southern Hawke's Bay Farmers' Union decided to urge the Dominion executive to do all possible to get cheaper manures for farmers, and also to endeavour to arrange for the supply of seeds at the cheapest rate, and, if possible, direct from the growers.

Representations are to be made to endeavour to have tiie land tax made payable in February, simultaneously with the income tax.
