The practice adopted by some Rugby players of esa hanging jerseys when on tour was geu« -rally condemned at last night's meetiji *g of the Management Committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union. "It is a sillj r habit," said the chairman, Mr. S. S . Dean. He approved of the suggestice . that members of the All Black teai l. be given badges which they could pr< -sent to the South Africans instead oi i their jerseys.

Mr. E. Wylii : suggested that the players be "asked to give an undertaking they would net 'swap' jerseys."

It was decs led that the players be provided with» badges.
