ARMED TAXI-DRIVERS.
PARIS CRIME WAVE SEQUEL.
PARIS, March 28.
Drivers of taxi-cabs in Paris are likely to be armed with revolvers in view of the crime wave. The Transport Federation has urged the Minister of the Interior, M. Sarrault, to make this lawful. It has pointed out that thieves know-taxi-cab drivers carry money and that they are often obliged to take passengers to lonely spots.
