CAMBRIDGE, this day.

At a poll of ratepayers of Leamington district held yesterday a proposal to borrow £2350 for the purpose of reticulating the district for a water supply from the Cambridge borough's Maungatautari supply was carried by 137 votes to 16. There are a total of 288 voters on the roll, of which 54 are absentees*
