(Received 10 a.m.) MELBOURNE, this day. Wheat is steady at 5/6% to 5/6% per bushel; flour, £12 7/6 to £12 12/6 per ton; bran, £6 15/; pollard, £7 10/; oats, milling, 3/6 to 3/9 per bushel; feed, 3/ to 3/3; barley, English, 5/ to 5/3; potatoes, £4 to £4 10/ per ton; onions. £8 to £8 10/. At the Melbourne hides sales to-day the market was firm. Lights advanced one farthing. Light kips were slightly easier. Others were firm.

CHICAGO WHEAT VALUES. _

(Received 10 a.m.) CHOCAGO, March 23. Wheat for delivery in March is quoted at Chicago at *1.40% per bushel. For May delivery the rate is $1.39%, and for July $1.36%.

LONDON WOOL SALES.

(Received 10 am.) LONDON, March 23. At the wool sales 11,371 bales were sold, of which 1799 were Australian sad 384J New Zealand. There was a good selection of greasy crossbreds and the best lot 01 slipes of this series. Keenest competition prevailed at full rates.
