AUCKLAND SHAREMARKET.

TRANSACTIONS ON 'CHANGE.

A sale was reported this morning of Union Bank shares at £14 11. Buyers of Bank of New South Wales shares advanced their offers to £47 17/6 to-day, but no seller quoted. Kauri Timber Co. shares firmed again this morning, sellers offering £22 10/ without business resulting. Inquiry set in to-day for Colonial Sugar Refining Co. shares at £58 5/, but none were offered.

Subsequent to the call, Government Inscribed Stock per cent, 1933, sold at £100 10/ and £100 7/6, and South British Insurance at 59/9.
