"HAPPIER WITH ANOTHER."
DIVORCE SUIT IN HAMILTON
DEFENCE FILED BY HUSBAND. (By Own Corre: u-nt.) HAMILTON, this day. On the grounds of her husband's alleged misconduct with a woman named Lilian Jane Moore, Bertha Alice Morrell asked for a divorce from Charles R. Morrell before Mr. Justice Blair to-day. The parties were married in 1910, and there was one child of the marriage. In 1920, while she was away, she received a letter from her husband in which he said he had met another woman with whom he felt he could be much happier than with her. He'still lived with the other woman, who bore two children to him.
His Honor said he was satisfied with the facts as presented, but as the respondent had filed a defence he must ascertain whether he intended to appear.: The hearing was adjourned.
