STOWAWAY DISCHARGED.
AFTER WEEK SPENT IN GAOL.
John Garside (32) having spent a week in Mount Eden gaol on remand, was presented for sentence at the Police Court to-day on a charge of having stowed away on board the s.s. Middlesex at Balboa on January S.
The police said that inquiries made showed that nothing was previously known against liim, so accusad was convicted and discharged.
