OLYMPIC GAMES.

DOMINION REPRESENTATION

£10,000 NECESSARY.

(By Telegraph.—l'ress Association.)

WELLINGTON, Tuesday.

Immediate appeals are to be made to the New Zealand public to contribute £10,000 so that the Dominion might be adequately represented at the Olympic Games at Amsterdam, in July and August of this year. This 'decision was readied at a meeting of the council of the Olympic Games Association tonight.

It is hoped to get the amount by March 10, when the subscription list will be closed. The council hopes to despatch a rowing team, totalling 12, two boxers, two or more athletes, and four swimmers, together with a manager.
