OPENING NEW SCHOOLS.

MINISTER OF EDUCATION'S VISIT. HIGH SCHOOL AT ROTORUA. The Minister of Education (Hon. R. A. Wright) is at present visiting the Auckland Education Board's district for the purpose of opening new and modernly equipped schools. To-morrow he will open the institution recently erected at Wliakatane t-o replace the school that was destroyed by fire some time ago, while on Thursday he will be the principal figure at the ceremony arranged m connection with the opening of the Rotorua, District High School. The chairman of the Auckland Education Board (Mr. A. Burns) left Auckland this mornirvg to join the Minister and he present at both functions. While away lie will take the opportunity of discussing several questions pertaining to the educational requirements of the district with the Minister.
