INTEREST ON OVERDRAFTS.
REDUCTION OF KATE SOUGHT. (By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) WANG AN UI, Monday. The Wanganui Chamber of Commerce last night decided to draw the attention of the executive of the Associated Chambers of Commerce to the fact that the exports from New Zealand now exceed the imports, and to express the opinion that the general financial position is improving and the time is ripe for a reduction in the bank rate of interest on overdrafts.
