ADMITS SIXTEEN CHARGES.

COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE

John Raymond Slattery (21) at present awaits sentence at the Supreme Court on numerous charges.

He. appeared at the Police Court this morning before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M.. pleading guilty to thirteen charges of theft from dwellings in and around the city, between November 1 and January 18, and three charges of common theft.

The evidence showed that Slattery"s method was to visit and ransack the houses when they were unoccupied. The total value of the goods and money stolen was £81 14/9.

Slattery, for whom Mr. Allan Moody appeared, was committed for sentence.
