FALSE DECLARATION.
MARRIED MAN'S OFFENCE.
SAID HE WAS SINGLE,
A case of an unusual nature occupied the attention of Mr. Justice Reed in the Supreme Court to-day when William George Ogg, aged 52, appeared for sen* tence on a charge of making a false declaration for a certificate of marriage.
It was stated that accused's first wife died, but he was divorced from the second. In making the declaration for the third marriage, he stated that he was a single man.
A fine of £10 was imposed and Ogg was ordered to pay costs, £1 1/.
