WEEK-END ACCIDENTS.
FALL FROM MOTOR CYCLE.
Following a fall from his motor cycle through skidding near Royal Avenue and New North Road, Kingsland, James Armstrong (19), of 22, Tranmere Road, Edendale, was conveyed to the Auckland Hospital last evening by the St. John Ambulance. He lias a fractured left elbow, but is making ,good recovery.
A BROKEN LEG.
Mr. Stanley Thornton, of 6, Cambridge Street, Newton, was admitted to the Auckland Hospital on Saturday evening with a broken leg. He is a driver for R. and W. Hellaby, Ltd., and sustained the injury while at his work. He is making good progress.
INJURIES TO HEAD.
Miss Stella Susman (27), of Richardson Road, Mount Albert, was hurt while motoring on Saturday and received attention at the Auckland Hospital for injuries to the head. She is reported to be making go*d progress.
RESCUE AT . MOTUTAPU.
An Otahuhu youth who got into difficulties while bathing at Motutapu on Saturday was rescued by Mr. A. Muller A, member of the National Reserve Division of the St. John Ambulance Association. The case at first appeared hopeless, but the expert treatment given br the rescuer revived the youth.
