ROTORUA AND BAY OF PLENTY.

WELLINGTON, this day.

Tho Minister of Education, the Hon. R. A. Wright, intends making a visit to Rotorua and tho Bay of Plenty districts next week. Leaving Wellington on Sunday for'Rotorua, via Hamilton, he will go to Whakatane on Tuosday, meeting en routre a deputation at Edgccumbe. Next day he will open additions to the Te Paroa native school, Hiid also attend a memorial gates cercmony.

On .Wednesday afternoon the Minister will formally open a new school at Whikatane, and Jio will return to Rotorua in tho evening. On Thursday ho will inspect the Rotorua primary school and tha Whftkarewarcwa native school, and in tho afternoon will open the new high sqhool, leaving in the evening for Wellington. / Mr. A. Burns, chairman of the Auckland Education Board, will join the Minister during his tour for tho purpose of making representations on matters affecting the Auckland education district.
