SEDAN CAR IN FLAMES.
YOUNG MAN STRUGGLES FREE

WELLINGTON, this day.
Kenneth Douglas, aged ?,4, is in hospital suffering from shock received early this morning when the sedan car he was driving backfired and was enveloped in flames on the Evans' Bay Road. The car left the road and went over a small bank, and Douglas had difficulty in getting free. A lire brigade arrived and saved the car, but not before it had been considerably damaged.
