ONEHUNGA CLUB.

The above club flew their first young bird race from Te Awamutu, an airline distance of 81 miles. The birds were liberated at 11 a.m. in fine weather, and therefore the result was close. The winner proved to be Mr. W. Sargent's blk p c Moonlight, who did the journey in 2h 11m. Results ;—
