Mr. and Mrs. A. Langley came from Palmerston North to Auckland by the Limited this morning.
Captain Mclndoe was a through passenger from Wellington by the Limited this morning.
Captain Lewis, of Palmerston North, arrived in Auckland this morning, being a passenger on the Limited express.
Mr. R. C. Clark, of Pukekohe, and Mr. E. Hanson, of Wanganui, are staying at the Commercial Hotel.
Mr. G. Sample arrived in Auckland this morning by the Limited, having been booked through from Dunedin.
Mr. W. F. Sedgerow arrived from Sydney by the Marama this morning. He is at the Central HoteL
Mr. Lippincott, well-known architect of Auckland, was a passenger by the Limited express from Wellington this morning.
Mr. J. Kenneth Johnston, of the legal firm of Messrs. Johnston, Coates and Fee, returned to Auckland by the Marama to-day, after spending a short holidav at Svdnev and Melbourne.
Mr. W. Forgan Smith, Deputy Premier of Queensland and Minister of Agriculture and Stock, who is in New Zealand o na holiday tour with liis wife and private secretary, is at present in Wellington.

Messrs. D. W. McLean and C. A. Snedden leave by the Aorangi this evening for Sydney to attend a Rugby League conference there. Mr. McLean was the first chairman of the Auckland Rugby League, and the first president of the New Zealand Rugby League.

Mr. Rottert Bell, of Christchurch, arrived this morning by the Maru;na from Sydney. Mr. Bell has been away from New Zealand for nearly two years, during which he has visited m-nv parts of the world. He represented New Zealand at the World's Press Conference at Geneva, and was elected president of that body. After that, Mr. Bell toured Central and Eastern Europe, Spain, Norway and French Nortl.cr:i Africa. He retui.ic.' via the United States, and Canada, Japan, China, Singapore and Java.
