COMPLETION of lay-out.

CONCENTRATION OF TfeAFFIC.

On the completion of the lay-out of the new railway station yard it will be ncceisary to eliminate the existing inw»rd goods yard, adjacent to Beach Bo»d, and concentrate all traffic on the sidings adjacent to Quay Street. Advice to this effect was conveyed to to-day's meeting of the Auckland Harrow Board by the district engineer for railways. The Department is seeking to Itase a portion of the eastern redaction for eighteen months. In the event of the lease being entered into, th# Department desires to know whether tte board would be agreeable to forming the roadway adjacent to the block.
