Mr. N. G. Gribben left for the South last night.
Mr. S. Spain, of Alexandra, Africa, is staying at the Grand Hotel.
Mr. and Mrs. T. Coverdale, of Te Kawa, are at the Hotel Cargen.
Mr. A. Tyndall, engineer to the Main Highways Board is visiting Auckland. He is staying at the Star Hotel.
Mr. B. Sladden, of Tauranga, and Mr. C. S. Grear, of Wellington, are staying at the Star Hotel.
Mr. H. Bates, Collector of Customs at Apia, Samoa, arrived by the Tofua this morning on three months' holiday leave. He is accompanied by Mrs. Bates.
Mr. S. It. Edwards, of Hamilton, and Mr. A. E Rae and Mr. J. MeCormick, of the Thames, are at the Commercial Hotel.
Mr. W. A. Jones, of Whangarei, and Mr. "W. Moore and Mr. B. Kennard, of Wellington, are staying at the Albert Hotel.
Dr. T. Ritchie, medical officer at Apia, Samoa, arrived by the Islands steamer to-day, accompanied by Mrs. Ritchie. Dr. Ritchie has been indisposed for several months and has been granted four months' sick leave.
Among those at the Central Hotel are Major and Mrs. H. C. Glendinning (Hamilton), Mr. C. E. Seager (London), Mr. W. R. Wyllie (Hamilton), Mr. C. Johnstone (Te Kuiti), Mr. C. Zander (Wellington).
