ADVANCE IN PRICES.
CROSSBRED® UP 7% TO 10 PER CENT
(Received 10 a.m.) LONDON, November 22. At the wool sales 11,022 bales were offered, whereof 5800 were Australian and 4741 New Zealand.
There was a crowded attendance, and a cheerful spirit with excellent competition. The selection of Merinos was almost entirely fine-haired. The Continental style met a good demand, chiefly from French and German Jiuyers, at par to five per cent advance, compared with September closing rates.
All sections competed keenly for crosabreds, and greasy advanced 7% to 10 per cent, scoured and slipes fully Id. Lambs' wool was scarce and advanced five per cent. Sales included: New Zealand's Waipaoa, 19% d to 18d; Weka Downs, 42d to 40d.

London wool sale opened with good general competition. There was a large attendance, and a good selection. As compared with closing rates of last series, Merino realised par to five per cent higher, crossbred 7% to 10 per cent higher.

Additional information to that published to. yesterday's "Star" with regard to the Wanganui sale indicates that the offering of wool was not equal in general style or attractiveness to the Wellington and Napier catalogues, and taking this fact into consideration the market showed little or no change. Skirtings, on the prices realised, might seem to have eased, but no really good lota were submitted, most of _ the pieces and bellies being wasty, skirty and generally very seedy. The range of prices was as follows: — d. a.
