"CHALLENGE OF GENEVA."

That anything pertaining to the League of Nations, especially at the present time while the members are in session is of the deepest interest to the people generally, was shown last night, at St. Paul's Church, Devonport, when an exceptionally large congregation gathered to hear the Rev. W. Lawson Marsh, M.A. speak en the "Challenge of Geneva," or "What can the ordinary citizen do to. ( j prevent war ?" There were present in the church members of the executive of the Auckland branch of the League, who distributed literature and at the- close of the service enrolled those who were anxious to join the League as active members. Mr. Marsh's address was a powerful and eloquent personal appeal to the individual to do his duty on behalf, of the world peace.
