AUCKLAND SHAREMARKET.

TRANSACTIONS ON 'CHANGE.

Bank shares are receiving a lot of attention at the hands of investors this week. >iew .Zealand Bank shares sold vesterday afternoon at 58/2, and Bank of Australasia at 14 guineas. Commercial Bank shares were placed this morning at 28/. Inquiry has set in for Bank of Svdney at £23 12/6 Bank of New South Wales eased a little being now offered at £43 17/6. Amusement Park ordinary- shares firmed again, buyers offering 16/. Wilsons Cement also improved to buyers at 35/6, but sellers want another shilling. Buvers came in to-day for Donaghy Rope and Twine shares at 32/6. War Loans firmed a little, 10/ premium being offered for the s\k per cent, and a sale being made of 4% per cent, 1938, at £96 7/6. At the third call yesterday sales were made of Union Oil at 41/6, Devonport Ferry at 23/9, Waihi at 20/3, and Lucky Shot, contributing issue, at 2/. Waihi shares sold at 20/9 at the noon call to-day, and Lucky Shot up to 2/3.
