WELLINGTON, this day.
Mr. Page. S.M.. gave a reserved judgment to-day in the ram in which J. D. Williams claimed £49 damages from R. S. Mcnzies, as the result of a collision hot ween two cars on the Hutt Road in February- 23. Mcnzies counter-claimed for £90.
Both cars were travelling towards Wellington, and Williams decided to go np the Khandallah Road. Mencies, who had been following, had, just prior to this move, sounded his horn and moved up to the right with the intention of passing the other car. Williams' ear was at right angles to the line of the road when the two cars came into collision.
The magistrate held that Williams made a turn when there wu no reasonable prospect of doing it in safety, and without giving adequate warning. He .1 warded Menxies £25 on his counter- •'.- im.
