"EARLY AUCKLAND."

Irwin Crookes presided over a large attendance. Auckland was the particular city of which the lecturer traced the early history, and on the foundation and settlement of which he spoke. Mr. Watson referred to the wonderful work of the pioneers of New Zealand, and also of the earliest of the missionaries to reach the country. He paid special tribute to the Rev.
