EXPLOSION.

The danger of children playing with matches was exemplified yesterday afternoon when fatal injuries were receired by Douglas SeOars, aged nine, as the result of the explosion of Mα* kerosene at the home of his relative, at Tuakau. The child, whose parents reside at Mount Wellington Highway, Ellerelie. was playing with matches near a tin of kerosene when the flame came in contact with the fames and eansed an explosion. The boy sustained severe burn* on the face, arms and legs. He was brought into the city and admitted to the Auckland Hospital, where death occurred shortly before midnight.
