By Trtifciipa.—Own ConesneeAsatJ CHRISTCHURCH, Monday. In the Magistrate's Court to-day, the Rink Taxis, Ltd., were charged with baring an unlicensed motor ear. The point to be decided waa whether a car kept intide a garage to be hired waa hi the same category aa a ear on a atnat stand. The magistrate held that tbe definition "plying for hire" applied to all can owned by taxi proprietors who had their own garages and went out in respoue to telephone calls. A conviction was recorded, and as it was a test case a nominal fine of 1/ and coetf imposed,
