WEDDINGS OF THE WEEK
GRIFFITHS—XNOX. A chinning wrddiaj; irhidi atmd much interest took place at All Saints' Church on Wednesday (renins, when Mis* Constance Knox, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Knox, Heme Bay, was married to Mr. Leonard Griffiths, only w» of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Griffith*, Mount Eden. The ceremony was conducted by the Rev. Mr. Young. The bride entered the church on the ana of her father. Her graceful frock was fashioned on artistic lines with long waisted bodice of ivory panne velvet, with full skirt of georgette with deep velvet hem. Her dainty veil of Bru*sel lace, surmounted by a wreath of orange blossom, formed a graceful train. She carried a bouquet of white cvclsmen, sweet peas and maidenhair fern. The bridesmaid*. Miss Marjorie and Miss Dorothy Griffiths, wore frocks of delphinium blue crepe de chine, appliqued with flower* in rose-coloured chiffon velvet and wore bead-dresses of silver tissue. Mr. Bruce Lawscs acted a* best man, and Mr. Alfred Oist as groomsman. Over 100 guests attended the reception. Mrs. Russell Knox received the guest* wearing a stylish frock of black georgette over powder blue, with smart hat to match and carried a bouquet of spring flower*. Mrs. Arthur Griffith* wore a handsome French fnxk of pleated black georgette with Oriental fringe and smart crinoline hat, earned a shower bouquet of pink cyclamen. Miss Phyllis Knox wore a dainty frock of rose pink crepe de chine.
