PAPAKURA BALL.
The Papakura footballers and hvx-kcy girls' combined ball held in tho Paragon Picture Theatre Last evening was a great success, when a large crowd attended and a very jolly evening was passed. The hall wai prettily dooorated in the clubs' colours of red and white for the hockey, and b!ack for the footballers. Streamers hung from a dome in the centre to the walls, which made a pretty picture. The supper tables were very pretty and jonquils were the main flower used, and the supper was very dainty. The music was supplied by Xlr. Philip Hardman's orchestra.
