Mr.»»i®jeneaeir Allan, of Buckland, to-day antiouilced his Intention to eontest the Raglan'seat as a Reform candidate. He has resided for over 20 years ,at Buckland,. where he is in business as a seed merchant and seed grower. For. soma years' Mr.' Allan was chairman of the Pukekohe East Road Beard, and the Manukau County Conference, '•ounty and forming Franklin County which was successful in dividing that oimcil.
