SUMMERTIME BILL
MOVEMENT IN SUPPORT. PRESSURE ON GOVERNMENT. IN CONSISTENCY ALLEG ED.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURUCH, this day. The Pioneer Club and other bodies entirely outside sports are promoting a meeting to urge the Government to allow the Summertime Bill to proceed. It is pointed out that daylight saving is already in force in Government offices, even in winter, and it is urged that the Government's opposition to the measure is inconsistent.
