DARGAYILLE ANNIVERSARY.
Tbe first anniversary of the Loyal Dargaviile Lodge, M.U.. 1.0.0.F.. was fittingly celebrated at the Band Room, Dargaville, on Monday evening, when tbe lodge was also honoured with a visit of Bro. F. Chas. Perry, D.G.M., and Bro. John McLeod. D.S. The D.G.M., at the invitation of the N.G. .(Bro. D. Geaney), occupied the chair, tbe D.S. taking that of the V.G. Both officers, after being duly welcomed, addressed the meeting on some important matters re the Order. Bro. F. L. Izod. F.S., was presented with the gold Jewel for introducing the first twenty members. After lodge was closed a banquet was tendered by Royal Dargavilie Lodge, at which a very large gathering was present, including visitors from a wide area, and representatives of all other lodges in the district.
