LYCEUM CLUB DANCE.
A most successful dance was held by the members of the musical circle of the Lyceum Club last evening. In the lounge orange-coloured shades shed a soft glow upon the dancers, and masses of greenery and bowls of golden Iceland poppies decked the platform on which the musicians were seated. The supper room was gaily decorated with streamers in shades of orange, which were looped from points in the ceiling to all corners of the tables. Spring flowers made artistic decoration in crystal vases. Miss Maida Hooker, convener of the dance circle, wore a frock of delicate mauve georgette embossed in silver, with orchid tinted shawl; Mrs. A. Bullock was in rose beige with ostrich feather flounces; Airs. E. Waters, black crepe de chine marocain with handsome turquoise shawl; Mrs. Oxley, frock of ciel blue georgette heavily beaded in silver; Mrs. Prior Williams, black gros grin with French embroidery on skirt; Mrs. C. Verran, beige lace frock and rose velvet bow; Mrs. Dacre, mauve diamante and embroidered shawl; Mrs. Nello Porter, hand-painted helio georgette; Mrs. Goodfellow, ivory georgette with feather trimming on skirt, and large French shoulder decoration; Mrs. Raymond, black sequined frock; Mrs. J. J. Sullivan, frock of rose and black sequins; Mrs. Niven, flame and silver; Mrs. Harold Warner, amethyst georgette sequined; Mrs. Meek, orange panne velvet; Mrs. Hardley, cyclamen and silver; Mrs. C. Dacre, pale pink georgette; Mrs. Carter, gold lace frock; Mrs. P. Muir, black velvet and embroidered shawl; Miss B.
