Mr. and Mrs. C. H. J. Wily have taken up their residence in Milford, Takapuna.
Mrs. John Murphy, of Wellington, is staying with her mother, Mrs. H. Swallow, Parnell, Auckland.
Mrs. H. G. Mason, Auckland, is the guest of Mrs. G. T: Mason, Kelburn, Wellington.
Miss Edith Lyttelton (G. B. Lancaster), who has been paying a short visit to Nelson, is now staying with friends in Hawke's Bay. She will leave about September to stay with relatives in Tasmania.
Mrs. H. E. Kempthorne, of Weybridge, England, is visiting Auckland, where she is staying with Mrs. Godfrey Devercux Green Lane. Mrs. Kemptliorne returns to England on the 26th of this month, via Sydney.
Miss H. R. Wright has tendered her resignation to the Parks Committee of the City Council as assistant supervisor of children's games after five and a-half years of service. The resignation has been granted, and Miss Wright has been granted a month's leave of absence on full pay.
Great efforts are being made by an energetic band of workers to raise funds for the Community Club that is being formed by the Play Association. Tonight "Ariadne" will be presented by a band of amateurs in the Town Hall Concert Chamber for this purpose.
