DRAPER'S SHOP ROBBED.
BURGLARY AT DARGAVILLE. ATTEMPT TO REMOVE SAFE. CASH TAKEN FROM TILL. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DARGAVILLE, this day.
Some time late last night or early this morning a burglar or burglars entered Mr. M. Pekos' billiard room and drapery shop, and took £2 in cash from the till. They also attempted to remove the safe, which contained a considerable sum in notes, silver and cheques, but they failed. A quantity of cigarettes is also missing.
