YOUNG MAN IN COURT.
CHARGED WITH STEALING
WHISKY.
EEMAXDED UNTIL TUESDAY.
A young man, Horace Alfred Tweedale, appeared in the Police Court this morning before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., on a charge of stealing at New Plymouth on April 21 last eight cases of whisky, the property of the Government Railway Department. Mr. Goldstein appeared for accused. On the application of Detective Sergeant Kelly accused was remaded until Tuesday next in order that the authorities might get in touch with New Plymouth.
