Two men and two women were found making merry in a house in Laurie Avenue, Parnell, yesterday. The owner of the house is at present in America, and his attorney, Mr. Clark, stated that the persona had no right to be in the house. When discovered one of them was playing the piano. As a sequel. Willa Podger (30), Nellie Stipich (29), Arthur Selwvn Wood (34), and Sydney Murfitt (3*l), were this morning charged in the Police Court before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S,M., with being m the house without lawful excuse. Murfitt stated that they did have permission to go there whenever they liked. On the application of Detective Sergeant Kelly accused were remanded until Tuesday next.
