OLD MAN FOUND DROWNED.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WANGANUI, Wednesday. The body of Richard Payton, 82 years of a"c, residing at Maxwellton, was found in a°laeoon not far from his home. Ha had been greatly upset over the illness of his wife. She became unconscious on Monday night, and the. fact caused the husband so much grief that lie left- the house and was never seen alive again.
