ENGLISH LEAGUE'S REPLY.

LONDON", June 19.
The Rugby League's annual conference at Bridlington dealt with a cable from the New South Wales, Queensland and New Zealand Leagues suggesting that the decision to remove the two years' residential qualification of colonial players be not made operative, pending a conference in 1928 with the manager of the English team going to Australasia.
The League, however, instructed the secretary to reply, stating that the agreement had been terminated by the votes of the clubs at the annual meeting. Therefore, the residential qualification must be considered to be terminated from June 18.
