RUGBY, June 19.
After holding a levee in the famous Frescoed Hall at Malta, the Duke and Duchess of York motored up the Strada Reale to lay the foundation stone of a new town which is being built on the site of the old fortifications.
This ceremony took place in the arena formed by high battlements, on which thousands of people had gathered. , Their Royal Highnesses again had an enthusiastic reception.
