CANARY SHOW.
SUCCESSFIL AUCKLAND BRF.KDERS. Two Auckland breeders divided between them nearly all the houours of the Palmerston North Canary and Cage Bird Club's show last week. In the canary section the prize for the champion Norwich was won by Mr. R. Kneehone, and another Auckland exhibitor, Mr. G. C. Bceston. won no less than six prizes with one bird. The judge, Mr. Brown, said that it was the finest bird he had judged for many a year. Its prizes were:—Clear or ticked buff cock, 1 ; yellow, clear or ticked cock or hen. 1 ; Rpm-ial prize for best buff Yorkshire; rosebowl (special prize* ; special prize presented by Mr. J. T. Brice for the best Yorkshire hen; special prize presented by Mr. L. Belcher for the best buff Yorkshire.
