Then it went Va.-k ir.to Syrconds Street, made a ■ ietcTir iif a vacant section through long w,-r. rra«#. and wandered on throogh ::■•? rain, ignoring everybody. following were afraid to waken tne woTr.an. Soirebody pot in touch with the police, and two constables arrived, bat thev. :■>.. th- usht it inadvisable to wake the won.an. At last, when the sleeper got to the top of Constitution BUI, she was asked by one of the men where she was !>he switched round, and walking .it lionhle her original pace made up Syaiond* Street again. She b-ad pane only a short way when she turned into the right-of-way and disappeared- One of the policemen followed her, while the ■£her tried to wake the people of the house, but could not ronse them. Soon the other policeman came hack ind announced tha.t she was back in be<L an occupant of the house having assiired him that all was weii.
