(From Qur Own Correspondent.} HAMILTON, this day. / At the Hamilton Court to-day Albert Edward Blackwell, licensee of the Waikato. Hotel, pleaded guilty to a charge of selling liquor after hauio. Poiice officers recently visited the premises and found there a young man, Norman Attwood, aged 20, with a bottle of wine, which Blackwell admitted 2Bg to him. For the defence it was said that Attwood told the licensee that the wine was for his mother who. was siek As , 51,8 * in three months •nd BlackweU did not intend to apply for a renewal, the magistrate, Mr. .Wyvern Wilson, imposed a tine of £T •nd costs. . Attwood, who was charged with procuring liquor after houFs, was fined 40/.
